I live in Tobarra, which is a small town in the southeast of Spain. It has a population of 8000 people. It´s a beautiful where you can walk because it´s very calm. There are a lot of narrow streets, four churches and a museum. There aren´t many shops.
Tobarra is famous for the Easter. At Easter there are a lot of processions from Monday to Sunday, except on Saturday. In the processions many brotherhoods parade with many brothers wearing tunics and hoods. The best procession in Tobarra is on Friday morning. This day, at Calvary, there are 30.000 people.
Besides the processions, at Easter in Tobarra we also play the drum during 104 hours, from Wednesday to Sunday. Sunday at midnight all drums stop at the same time. In Tobarra there is a Drum monument, that it was done by my mother´s cousin in 1995, and a drum museum. A typical souvenirs in Tobarra is a small drum monument replica.
I like living in Tobarra because it´s my town. I have my family and my friends here. I would like that in here there was more work and the young people could work here.

DESCRIBING A BUILDING FROM TOBARRA
A beautiful building in Tobarra is the Church of "Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion". It is in the historical center of Tobarra, in the neighborhood of "La plaza". It isn´t known who was the architect, but it is very probable that he was Spanish. Construction began in 1546 and ended in 1616.
The exterior appearance is of Spanish Renaissance style, starting from a Gothic basis. Initially, the church had a tower over 50 meters, but in 1952 the tower collapsed. For ten years, it was reconstructed. Now, the new tower is smaller than the previous and it is about 35 meters.
Inside the church, there are very high roofs and side chapels. In this church a lot of images of Easter are stored all year. Now, the church needs a restoration because it´s very old.
A good view from the church is a big clock in my town. It´s a clock of 15 meters and it´s near to the church in a small hill.
The entry into the church is free but it only opens at weekend.
